World of Warcraft is currently the most popular massively, multi-player online role playing game out there with over 11 billion active players. When you play MMORPGs, you log online and join a virtual world and play as one or more different characters.
In order to log on smoothly, your desktop computers have to be able to load the world and all the players nearby. The most basic game play will require extra RAM, a relatively fast Internet connection and 25BG of free space on your hard drive. This will give your computer the power it needs to process the flashier stuff that makes the game so much fun. But with hp desktop computers, you can run games even smoother with the same configuration.
Another vital part of your gaming experience is getting hit by a wide variety of explosions, splatters and swirls of dangerous things. When all that starts, no matter how much room your hard drive has, there’s something else you’ll need; a good 3D video card.
When your character levels to 10 or 15, it’s time for the real game to start. Grouping is a huge part of MMORPGs and you should dive in as soon as you’re at level 10. You group with five or so players and set off into a dungeon to loot treasure and fight giant monsters. The role you play will depend on your character’s class and skill. It’s a great way to learn and sharpen your game, which is why you don’t want to lag. Lag can make it very hard to heal or hit enemies at all. No matter what part of the group you’re playing, lag is very bad news. 2GB of RAM in your computer is ideal and will stop lag, but 1GB will do in a pinch.
Finding a group means you have to know where your character fits in and your abilities — but it also requires skill and a capable computer. Now that your computer has leveled up to the task, get out there and party.
